In pursuit of producing high quality tapioca pearls,
we have an ISO22000 certified factory in Hokkaido – known for clean air and water,
where we manufacture tapioca pearls under strict and high standards.
Now with its Headquarter in Tokyo and the manufacturing site in Hokkaido,
Tapioca Express was established in 2009 by Kosuke Minami and Wataru Hirose,
originally as an importer of Taiwanese Tapioca Pearls.
Soon after the establishment,
we had developed frozen quick Tapioca which can be ready to serve immediately by reheating in a microwave or in boiling water,
with aims to cater to food businesses considering to include Tapioca on their menus.

Our production facilities in Sapporo, Hokkaido have been accredited ISO22000,
a stricter certification than the ISO9001.
With this higher accreditation we aim to not only produce genuine and high quality Japanese Tapioca Pearls,
but it is also our goal to pursue development of new products to meet growing demand for Tapioca pearls.
Current shelf life of our tapioca pearls are appx 8 months at room temprature*.
This shelf life will enable our clients to store large quantities for a longer than average time.
